Compulsive Sexual Behavior
The Urge & the Why
An 8-Week Interactive Educational Program
Understand the pattern. Explore the why. Respond with intention.
Sexual urges are part of being human. But when certain behaviors begin to feel repetitive, difficult to interrupt, or disconnected from your intentions, it can be helpful to understand what's happening beneath the surface.
The Urge & the Why is an eight-week interactive educational program that explores the connections between sexual behavior, the nervous system, emotional regulation, reward, attachment, shame, and personal values.
Through accessible education, guided reflection, and facilitated group discussions, participants can develop a deeper understanding of their patterns and explore practical ways to respond with greater awareness and intention.
Understanding the Pattern
Beyond the Behavior:
Understanding the Why
Compulsive sexual behavior is rarely understood by focusing on behavior alone.
For some people, repetitive sexual behaviors become connected to stress relief, emotional escape, loneliness, boredom, reward-seeking, or attempts to feel connected.
Understanding these connections can create opportunities for greater awareness, flexibility, and intentional decision-making.
This program isn't about eliminating sexual desire. It's about understanding the patterns and exploring choices that align with your needs, relationships, and values.

Is This Program for You?
